Amro Energy is an Australian oil and gas exploration company focused on onshore plays across the country's most prospective sedimentary basins.
Amro Energy was established to participate in the responsible exploration and development of Australia's onshore petroleum resources.
We operate at a time when domestic gas supply is critical to Australia's energy security and industrial competitiveness — and we believe disciplined, well-capitalised explorers have a meaningful role to play in addressing the challenges facing the East Coast gas market.
Our approach is straightforward: identify prospective acreage, run technically sound work programs, engage early with landholders and communities, and operate to the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance.
Our principals have a demonstrated history of funding oil and gas exploration and production in Australia. In May 2025, our parent company participated as a farm-in partner alongside Red Sky Energy Limited (ASX: ROG) to fund drilling of the KN2 well at the Killanoola Oil Project (PRL 13) in South Australia — a producing asset with 135.5 million barrels Best Estimate PIIP.
Targeted onshore programs designed to de-risk acreage efficiently and convert prospects into commercial reserves.
